Dr. Paul Scola is an experienced drug discovery scientist with more than 30 years of leadership in medicinal and synthetic organic chemistry. He has spent the majority of his career at Bristol Myers Squibb, where he serves as Group Director in Drug Discovery and has contributed to the advancement of innovative therapeutic programs across multiple disease areas. Paul brings deep expertise in small molecule drug discovery and medicinal chemistry strategy, supporting the development of novel therapeutics from early research through clinical advancement. He earned his PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University and conducted postdoctoral studies at Harvard University.
