Dr. Igor Mochalkin is Vice President of Discovery Technology at Actithera, where he leads the implementation of computational and experimental technologies supporting the company’s precision radioligand therapy platform. He has more than 25 years of experience in small-molecule drug discovery, with expertise in computational and medicinal chemistry, protein crystallography and biophysics. During his career, including his work at Pfizer (2003–2009) and Eli Lilly (2012–2016), he determined more than 500 protein crystal structures that advanced structure-based drug design across multiple therapeutic areas. Dr. Mochalkin has contributed to the discovery and development of multiple clinical candidates and is an inventor on numerous patents and the author of multiple scientific publications. He earned his PhD in Chemistry from Michigan State University.
