Dr. Beatrice Brunkhorst is an accomplished biotechnology leader with deep expertise spanning research, drug discovery, and R&D operations. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to advancing more than 15 drug candidates into the clinic across oncology and immuno-oncology programs involving both biologics and small molecules. Bea has led cross-functional global teams and collaborations in both startup and pharmaceutical environments, bringing operational rigor and strategic leadership to complex development programs. Her experience in program management, research operations, and early development continues to support Actithera’s mission to advance innovative oncology therapeutics. She earned her PhD in Biochemistry at Boston University.
